Ian Cannon’s body is slight and uncooperative, unmoving legs and spasmodic arms, hands, and fingers permanently ensconced in a wheelchair made of blue tubular steel with a black cushioned seat that includes a pillar to keep his legs separated, and black mag wheels with hard gray rubber tires.
Cannon, 16, lives in Glastonbury and has had cerebral palsy since birth. He has had a lifetime of physical therapy, which he says, “is not the most fun workout experience you can ever do.”
